Vocab AR (VocabulARy) is an innovative augmented reality platform designed to assist students in mastering grade-level spelling words. The application was developed by Jamie during the 2021 Thanksgiving break, inspired by his desire to support his 7-year-old son, who was beginning to learn how to read. This immersive app places students in an augmented reality classroom, allowing them to engage actively with their spelling practice.

Currently tailored for second-grade learners, Vocab AR offers an extensive collection of over 315 spelling words specifically curated for this age group. This resource not only aims to enhance vocabulary but also provides an interactive learning experience that can captivate young minds.

Future updates are planned to expand the app’s offerings, including additional elementary school grades and enriched features that will further facilitate language acquisition.

The unique combination of technology and education in Vocab AR promises to make spelling practice both enjoyable and effective for children.
